MER Clinic: Railroad Modeling in Short Pieces

The clinic is designed to encourage modelers, especially those with limited space requirements, to consider modular construction. Although N Scale/NTRAK modules are used as an example, the principle of building and using modules in all scales are discussed. Using modular construction for home layouts is also covered. Finally, the difference between modular and sectional layouts is covered, along with how to build a layout that is easily moveable without destroying it by combining the two styles of benchwork.
